Payment Options

You will be asked to choose a payment method during the Payment phase of the checkout process. Several options are currently available.

Customers can also choose to pick up an order from our Oratia premises, while still selecting one of the other payment methods eg. Bank Deposit, Cheque or Credit Card via PayPal.

PAY CASH ON PICK UP FROM WAYFARER:

Collect with Payment

Customers in the Auckland area may choose to collect an order directly from us, by negotiated arrangement. No delivery charges apply for this payment option. Customers must bring and make payment in full at the time of collection. No Cheques, Eftpos or  Credit Card payments available with this option. If you wish to collect your order but pay by means other than cash, select one of the other payment options during the checkout process.



BANK DEPOSIT:

Collect with Payment

Bank payment (through internet or phone banking). Deposit the payment directly into our bank account through internet banking, phone banking or at a local branch. Account Details are as follows:

Please remember to include your order number as reference when making a bank deposit payment.

Internet Banking/Phone Bank Transfer:

Bank transfers via Internet or phone are usually the easiest way to deposit funds into our account. Wayfarer Images banks with the Bank of New Zealand. Non BNZ customer transfers will normally be seen in our account the following day, providing they are set up before 8pm. If you are an BNZ Bank customer, the transfer should appear immediately.

If you are a non-bank customer, for example a credit union, your transfer may take an additional day. Please contact your financial provider for more information about these services and processing delays.

PLEASE NOTE: Transfers set up on a weekend or public holiday will be processed on the next business day, which means the payment will usually show on the second next business day. For example, transfers setup over the weekend will be processed Monday night and will show in our account on Tuesday morning.

Physical bank deposits made with a teller at a BNZ Bank branch should appear immediately in our account, provided the deposit is cleared funds and deposited before 4pm. It may pay to confirm with the teller as you make the deposit as to when payment is expected to appear in Wayfarer's account.


If you don't have an BNZ Bank branch in your town, you can visit your regular bank and ask them to do a transfer from your account into ours. This is not instant, however, and will most likely go in overnight.

Depositing uncleared funds, for example a personal cheque, will usually require  2 banking days for funds to be cleared.

PLEASE NOTE: Remember to ask the teller to add your order number as the reference for the deposit (just numbers are fine), as this is the only way for us to distinguish your payment from other customers' payments! If you forget your order number, please use any other identifying details such as your name, or email address as the reference instead.

Orders paid for by Bank Deposit or Internet/Phone Bank Transfer will not be released until the funds are showing as received in our Account Statements, which are normally checked every weekday.



CHEQUE:

Payment by Cheque

Payment by cheque is an option, however goods will only be dispatched once your cheque payment is received, banked and the payment is cleared. Cheque clearance usually takes 2 working days.

Cheques will only be accepted from within New Zealand's banking systems and should be made out to:

PAY VIA PAYPAL (Pay by credit card, no PayPal account necessary):

Collect with Payment

Customers wishing to pay by credit card can select the PayPal payment option. During the payment phase of the checkout, you will be transferred to PayPal's secure site to make a credit card payment. At the end of the process, you will have the option to return to the Wayfarer Images website.

Existing PayPal account holders
If you already have a PayPal account, login using your email address and password and follow the instructions to complete the payment.

Pay by credit card without signing up to PayPal
If you don't already have a PayPal account, don't worry - you can still make a credit card payment without signing up for one. Fill out your credit card details in the secure payment form and follow the instructions to complete the transaction.

Choose to register with PayPal at the time of making a purchase
Customers can choose to sign up for a PayPal account at the time and complete the purchase.

NOTE: Extra steps may be involved on the PayPal site. You may need to click on an activation email to complete the PayPal registration process, before being able to complete a payment.
